Ach, da hemmt sie enger Zwang!
(Die gefangenen Sănger, Schubert, text: August Wilhelm Schlegel).
(Irrlicht poem by Wilhelm Muller, set on piano/voice by F. Schubert):
In die tiefsten Felsengründe
Lockte mich ein Irrlicht hin:
Wie ich einen Ausgang finde,
Liegt nicht schwer mir in dem Sinn.
Bin gewohnt das Irregehen,
's führt ja jeder Weg zum Ziel:
Uns're Freuden, uns're Leiden,
Alles eines Irrlichts Spiel!
Durch des Bergstroms trock'ne Rinnen
Wind' ich ruhig mich hinab,
Jeder Strom wird's Meer gewinnen,
Jedes Leiden auch sein Grab.
Outro:
Rings sich die Täler neigen,
Es dunkelt schon die Luft,
Wie sind wir wandermüde -
Ist dies etwa der Tod?
(From: Richard Strauss, Im Abendrot (At sunset), text: Joseph von Eichendorff).
I can hear Death...
Death.
(Maggots roaring).

Die Welt hat mich vergessen
(Schumann, Der Einsiedler, text Joseph von Eichendorff).
Die Welt ist mir verdorben,
mein Herz ist lange gestorben,
(Schumann, Lied Op. 29, No. 2).
Manches geht in Nacht verloren.

Im Nebel
Seltsam, im Nebel zu wandern!
Einsam ist jeder Busch und Stein,
Kein Baum sieht den andern,
Jeder ist allein.
Voll von Freunden war mir die Welt,
Als noch mein Leben licht war;
Nun, da der Nebel fällt,
Ist keiner mehr sichtbar.
Wahrlich, keiner ist weise,
Der nicht das Dunkel kennt,
Das unentrinnbar und leise
Von allen ihn trennt.
Seltsam, Im Nebel zu wandern!
Leben ist Einsamsein.
Kein Mensch kennt den andern,
Jeder ist allein.

In English:
In the Fog
Strange to wander in the fog!
Lonely is every bush and stone,
No tree sees the other,
Each one is alone.
The world was full of friends,
When my life was still light;
Now that the fog falls,
No one is visible anymore.
Verily, no one is wise,
Who does not know the darkness,
Which inescapable and quiet
Separates him from all.
Strange to wander in the fog!
Life is loneliness.
No one knows the other,
Everyone is alone.

Auf einen Totenacker
Hat mich mein Weg gebracht.
Ihr grünen Totenkränze
Könnt wohl die Zeichen sein,
Bin matt zum Niedersinken
Bin tödlich schwer verletzt.

Wie wenn ein Blatt vom Wipfel fällt,
So geht ein Leben aus der Welt -
So ist es schon vergessen.
(Hugo Wolf - Im Stillen Friedhof, text Ludwig Pfau)
Und nun drängt sich in die Kehle
Aus der gramzerrissnen Seele
Schmetternd ihres Lieds Gewalt,
Wo es, statt im Wehn der Haine
Mit zu wallen, an der Steine
Hartem Bau zurücke prallt.
(Schubert - Die gefangenen Sänger, text August Wilhelm Schlegel)
Wie weit noch bis zur Bahre!
(Schubert - Der Greise Kopf, text Wilhelm Müller)
And the silent leaves are still,
In the shadow of the hill.
(Charles Ives - The Incantation)

T.b.r. 2-CD (+ Insania Moralis) at MAA Productions 28th of July 2017! Traummord is the classical version of most of the 1st Droommoord album, plus some bonus classical/ambient music e.g. track 5. Since mostly German composers and lyrics are added/used, the album and track titles are in German this time. A full list of composer credits shall be available in a while, but keep in mind that I have always put together pieces which as wonderful as they already are on itself, make now a whole new universe of music madness and melancholy because of the combination of classical/ambient pieces with black metal, and the combination of classical/ambient pieces with eachother. Lots of Schubert is used, also look at some of the tags and information next to track to discover for yourself. Later on both Droommoord (plus two bonustracks and now fully titled Droommoord, Desillusie Dodengang) and Traummord CD (with Insania Moralis CD on a double-disc at MAA Productions Japan) shall be released, and already full streaming, plus buying, at Bandcamp is possible. SonderlingHerr composer Weemoed, Netherlands. PS full lyrics shall be available here after writing them all down.
