'Weemoed' means something like: thoughtful sadness, or the longing for things that are gone and going. 'Droommoord' means: 'dream murder', which is both murder of dream and dream of murder. Desillusie Dodengang means Desillusion(ed) Death Path or something like that.

Droommoord is a monument of melancholy, moodiness, despair.
This art is a way to cope with the futility of things. And futile as it is, still here it stands as a crumbling statue of the dying inner self and a testament of pain, despair and hate, helplessness and hopelessness without glorification of life. Breaking through the sham of ordinary life to reach for deeper self, the depressed self, dying in circumstances and beauty. Personally, I'm in favour of conquering the sad states of self, but as an art form focusing on the pain is more realistic, and couldn't/can't be too much repressed. Realizing it's many times not so bad as lyrics suggest, can be a consolation. Still, doom, death and decay rule supreme. Suffering a burden we have to bear, happiness a mask sometimes to wear and share, but deep into the abyss I stare, only darkness to be seen, now despairfully wrapped in musick and lyrics here.
